Understanding CerebrumDAO through its public record

CerebrumDAO is a community-powered organization that sources, funds and advances translational neuroscience research aimed at extending healthy brain lifespan and preventing neurodegeneration — starting with Alzheimer's disease. This Explorer turns its scattered public record (website, governance votes, treasury wallets, and project announcements) into one place where every claim links back to where it came from.

What CerebrumDAO does

CerebrumDAO connects researchers, industry partners and community token holders to fund translational research in brain health. Research proposals move through a four-stage public process: an initial IP and commercial assessment, expert review and community presentation, an on-chain community vote, and finally execution and incubation once funded. Its stated priority research areas are neurodegeneration in Down syndrome, metabolic and mitochondrial dysfunction, blood–brain barrier dysfunction, and neuroinflammation.

The DAO is funded through sales of its NEURON governance token; token holders vote on funding and governance proposals via Snapshot, and licensing revenue from funded IP is intended to be shared between researchers and the DAO to reinvest in further science.

Posts are pulled from CerebrumDAO's official Substack feed and reviewed periodically, not fetched live on every page load.
